The district of Balcad in Middle Shabelle region recently witnessed an electrifying football tournament featuring local clubs competing at the premier level. The final match, held at the Dr. Eugenio Stadium, saw Balcad Star triumph over FC Halgan in a thrilling encounter.
The event was graced by the presence of esteemed guests, including the Chairman of the Balcad District Football Association, officials from the Banadir Regional Football Association, and the Minister of Youth and Sports for the Hirshabelle State. The district commissioner of Balcad, Qasim Ali Nur, also attended, lending his support to the tournament.
