In recent days, crucial military operations have taken place in Somalia, aimed at protecting the nation and its people. These operations were conducted in Buulo Xaaji, an area located between 50 and 100 kilometers from Jubbaland, with the collaboration of the Jubbaland Daraawiish forces and the Somali National Army, particularly the elite Danab unit.
Significant battles were fought in Magwaa, where the enemy suffered heavy losses. Extensive airstrikes were also carried out by friendly nations providing aerial support. According to reports, the battle in Magwaa yesterday resulted in the killing of numerous Al-Shabaab militants.
Additionally, joint airstrikes were conducted today by allied forces and the Somali National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA), resulting in further successes. In the Cagay area, these strikes led to the elimination of between 7 and 10 Al-Shabaab militants.
Furthermore, yesterday’s operations also targeted and destroyed an Al-Shabaab vehicle in Cabdibile, while another vehicle managed to escape.
The Somali National Army and other security forces are determined to contribute their blood and sacrifice to achieve freedom and liberate the areas still under the control of the Al-Shabaab militants.
The fight against Al-Shabaab will continue in the coming days, and the Somali people are assured that these efforts will be intensified. The aim is to reach areas that were previously inaccessible, inflict further losses on the enemy, and ultimately achieve victory, with the help of God.
Special recognition goes to the brave Somali forces who have played a significant role, particularly in the Magwaa area. The Somali forces, wherever they are stationed, are committed to shedding their blood and making sacrifices for the cause. Their victories are victories for the entire Somali nation.
