Somalia is embarking on an ambitious journey to chart a new course for the nation’s development through the National Transformation Plan. In a recent visit to the coordinating center, the Prime Minister expressed his delight at witnessing the organized and modern approach taken to formulate this comprehensive roadmap.
Unlike previous fragmented efforts, the National Transformation Plan brings together various ministries and government agencies, each contributing their expertise to specific sectors such as social affairs, economy, security, energy, water resources, and politics. Remarkably, despite their diverse areas of focus, these entities are collaborating seamlessly, setting a new precedent for integrated planning.
The Prime Minister highlighted the stark contrast from past practices, where each ministry or agency would develop its own isolated plan, lacking cohesion and shared accountability. This transformative initiative ensures that all stakeholders are working in unison, aligning their efforts towards a common vision for the nation’s progress.
